Department:  Environmental Services
Direct Report:  Housekeeping Supervisor

Summary:  Works independently or in groups to ensure Eliza Bryant Village is clean, safe and a welcoming environment.

Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for making all areas clean and safe
Floor care –stripping, waxing floors and common areas
Carpet care
Provide high quality specialized services to the residents and families
Move furniture
Trash Collection
High Dusting
Cleaning resident rooms and bathrooms
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Cleaning common areas
Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate 

 
Education Requirements:High School diploma or GED

 
Experience Requirements: 2 years housekeeping experience in long term care or related field
 
Other skills or certifications: Must be able to consistently lift, push, pull and move a minimum of fifty (50) pounds; prolonged standing and physical movement required.
 
Dimensions / Competencies:    Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, and personnel. The ideal person must project a positive, professional and welcoming demeanor at all times
